Notes

Allegedly this is the initial edition of 50 copies from late 1987. They are supposed to be one-to-one copies from the original reel-to-reel master tape onto TDK SF cassettes. Therefore, they appear to offer the best sound quality possible available.

Copies from this edition are easily distinguishable by the label of Digiton-Tonträger Köln pasted on the dark-blue shell of a 1985 first-generation TDK SF cassette. Also, the inlay prints differ from the more common black-and-white offset prints, which were later used by SHM and other distributors. The black sections of the print appear a little embossed while the white sections appear a bit transparent. The folds are heavily worn off. Could it be high-quality photocopies with some kind of varnish applied?
